Enriching & Meaningful Health & Human Services and Educational Careers
Careers in the healthcare industry are rewarding, both personally and professionally. Unlike some other industries, advancements in technology and declines in the economy do not have much of an impact on the high demand for healthcare professionals and teachers—the need for health and human services workers is steady. Many people look to these types of careers, like nursing or paramedic/emergency medical technician, for long-term job stability.
Pursuing a Health and Human Services program and taking courses in education or criminal justice, such as a degree in early childhood education or a law enforcement degree, will prepare students for careers working with children and in the criminal justice system.
