Important Advising Update for Student Parents

Beginning with the Fall 2025 semester, all student parents at North Central Michigan College will need to meet with Academic Advisor Kristin Jardine before registering for classes. This advising step ensures you have the resources and support to balance college and family life successfully.

What to Expect in Your Advising Session:

  • Assistance in selecting courses that align with your academic goals
  • Guidance on managing coursework while balancing family responsibilities
  • Information on resources to support your success in college and at home

Key Dates:

  • February 26, 2025 – Fall class schedule available online
  • March 12, 2025 – Registration opens
  • February 26—March 24 – Evening and weekend phone/virtual advising appointments available
