Family-Friendly Campus
Playgroup
NCMC's Playgroup is a great opportunity to connect with other parents and caregivers while giving your child a chance to socialize. Enjoy planned art, music, and sensory experiences, and learn about topics related to child development and parenting. Playgroup meets regularly in the Early Childhood Education Building. Children ages 0-5 with their caregiver are invited.

Harris Sculpture Garden
The Harris Gardens, located in the college's center courtyard, showcase the work of 26 internationally-renowned sculptors in a beautifully landscaped setting.
Natural Area
The Natural Area is 195 acres of relatively wild land and walking trails adjoining and south of our campus. Home to a dozen different biotic communities, it's an excellent place for exploration, photography, and wildlife observation.
Indoor Walking Track/Open Gym
North Central's Student and Community Resource Center (SCRC) offers basketball and pickleball courts, a free community walking track, circuit and cardio fitness rooms, and locker rooms with showers.
Library
Our Library offers an extensive selection of children's literature. Looking for something more interactive? Check out our Library of Things!
Iron Horse Café
Open to the public, the Iron Horse Café offers daily lunch and dinner specials, which include a hot entrée plus a cup of soup or a side salad or piece of fruit. There’s also a la carte style for younger guests craving chicken strips or a burger.
