  Students may begin using their Federal Financial Aid at the book store generally 6 weeks before the semester begins.  Please keep in mind the bookstore is not aware of the amount of federal aid you are receiving, ability to charge at the bookstore is based on you receiving federal financial aid not on whether or not you have a credit balance. Please keep in mind that charging books may result in a balance due to NCMC.  If you choose to purchase books using NCMC bookstore online, your account number is your NCMC student ID.  If you have questions on the dollar amount available or other concerns contact the Financial Aid office. • Information for Sexual Misconduct Victims - Sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual harassment, and stalking are prohibited by North Central Michigan College. The College is committed to preventing incidents thereof through educational programming, prompt and fair investigations of allegations and compliance with applicable laws. This policy applies to students, employees and visitors, regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, height, weight, marital status or familial status or disability as protected by relevant law.

It applies to incidents occurring on the main campus as well as at off-campus locations, such as college-sponsored field-trips, off-campus classes and college-sponsored events. Full text can be found in the Full Annual Security Report in the Safety section of this web site.

• Sex Offender Information​

Sexual offender information may be obtained by contacting the Petoskey Public Safety Department at 231-347-2500. You may also access the State Police website for this information at http://www.mipsor.state.mi.us.

• Vaccinations

There is no vaccination requirement for students. The Health Sciences programs may have vaccination requirements. Students in those programs should contact the program dean for specific vaccination requirements.
