Futures for Frontliners Program

The Futures for Frontliners program was a state scholarship initiative that provided tuition-free access to Michigan community colleges for frontline workers who served during the COVID-19 pandemic. The application period for this program closed on December 31, 2020.

Other Opportunities for Free/Reduced Tuition

While the Futures for Frontliners program is no longer accepting applications, Michigan offers other educational opportunities for residents seeking to further their education. One such program is Michigan Reconnect, which provides tuition assistance to eligible residents aged 25 or older who are pursuing an associate degree or skill certificate.

For more information on current scholarship opportunities and eligibility criteria, please visit the Michigan Reconnect website or contact North Central Michigan College's Admissions Office.
