BOMB THREAT

  • Use the Bomb Threat Checklist
  • Have a co-worker call 9-1-1 and 231-439-6385 while you’re talking to the caller
  • Ask where the bomb is located, when the bomb will go off, what materials are in the bomb, who is calling and why the caller is doing this
  • Do not hang up the phone when done with the caller
  • The College Incident Commander or designee initiates building evacuation procedures
  • See Building Evacuation Procedure
  • DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SEARCH THE PREMISES — the appropriate Law Enforcement Agency will coordinate search procedures to determine if the campus is safe enough to return to normal operations
