Join Joseph Balinski for a fascinating look at Polish culture in Michigan. Balinski will share Polish traditions and personal experiences from growing up in a large Polish family in Southeast Michigan. His presentation will consist of both lecture and interactive activities. Discussion topics will include immigration, Michigan history, religion, language, clothing, holidays, food, music and dance of ethnic Polish people.
About The Speaker:
Raised in Marysville, Michigan, Joseph Balinski is a graduate of Marysville High School, St. Clair County Community College, Central Michigan University, and Grand Valley State University. He is married with two children. Balinski and his wife have resided in Alanson for approximately 19 years.
