North Central Michigan College, in partnership with the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians, invites you to join us for a special Opening Ceremony on Monday, October 7, at 2 p.m. in the Harris Gardens. This ceremony celebrates the beginning of Phase II of NCMC’s Career and Technical Education Enhancement (CATEE) project. The event will take place between the Technology Building and the Health Education and Science Center (HESC).
The ceremony, led by Fred Harrington, retired NCMC professor and tribal elder, will honor the cultural significance of the land as we prepare to expand the HESC and build a new Technology Center. These advancements will support the growing demands of healthcare, technology, and skilled trades education at NCMC.
Light refreshments will be served after the ceremony, and the formal groundbreaking for the CATEE project’s Phase II is scheduled for January 2025.
This event is open to students, staff, faculty, and the public. We look forward to seeing you there as we celebrate this important milestone!
