North Central graduate, Christopher James Benzing is a graduate of the 134th Trooper Recruit School reporting for duty at the Michigan State Police (MSP) Gaylord Post. After graduating from North Central, James received his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Lake Superior State University. When asked why he decided to become an MSP trooper, James replied, “The best way I’ve heard it phrased is ‘all our job boils down to is being the adult in the room."
