New Student Checklist

Applying to North Central is easy and FREE! Apply online or if you’d like to apply in person at the Admissions Office, located in Student Services. Call (231) 348-6605 with questions. All students will need to send an official copy of their high school transcripts or GED and are welcome to submit ACT or AP scores as well.

To be considered for any kind of student financial assistance at NCMC, including scholarships, you will need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Apply online North Central Michigan's College Code is 002299. For any questions regarding the financial aid process, please contact our Financial Aid Specialist at 231-348-6627.

Submit ACT, SAT scores, High School GPA or take the ACCUPLACER. Allow 3 hours. No cost for ACCUPLACER. Retakes are charged. For Petoskey call 231-348-6682. For Gaylord call 989-705-3775. For Cheboygan call 231-625-3614.  Review assessment requirements on the North Central Assessment Grid.
