Title IX Training
North Central Michigan College wants to work together to create a fun, healthy and vibrant campus community. As part of that commitment, we expect all students and employees to complete Title IX training.
Students will be assigned Sexual Assault: Prevention for Community Colleges module, an Everfi online module that engages students in fostering healthy relationships and preparing them to recognize and respond to sexual assault and harassment when it occurs. Training will be conducted on a yearly basis and will be accessed through a link in an e-mail message.
Employees are required to complete Safe Campus Training modules yearly for Title IX training. Topics covered will be Regulation and Roles Overview, Roles of Employees, and Sexual Harassment Prevention for Employees. Training will be updated yearly and will be issued to all employees at the beginning of each academic year.
